QUESTIONS YOU MUST ANSWERS
1. Do you, your children and grandchildren know enough of God’s Word to make it to heaven?
Quizzing requires our children to do more than listen to a Bible story or sermon. It requires them to understand and retain His Word. Quizzing helps young people measure their knowledge of God’s Word so they can know how much they have learned. It provides structure as they grow in their knowledge of God and His love for them.
2. What is the priority that you have set for yourself and your young people when it comes to learning and memorizing God’s Word?
His words must be precious to you before it will be precious to them. Jeremiah wrote in chapter 15, verse 16; “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart.”
3. Are we in love with God and His Word?
David said it best: “O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day.” Psalm 119:97
4. What are the guiding principles that you want for yourself and your children to use to build the foundation of their beliefs?
When your young people have a question to whom do they go for an answer?
5. God’s Word or a friend?
Do your young people know who they are in Christ Jesus? Do they know why they were created by God? Do they know of the plans God has for their lives?
6. How much of God’s Word do your young people know and can they apply it to their life?
Do they know how to find answers to questions they have in their life situations?
7. What requirements have you set for their spiritual training?
Set the standard high! Only the best for our kids!
8. What can we teach our child that is more important than what God is saying?
9. How do our young people defeat the devil if their sword is dull?
10. How can they fight the enemy and win if they do not know God’s Word?
11. How many children have lost their way in this because they did not know God’s Word and what God was saying to them?

THE BIBLE, GOD’S HOLY WORD
This book contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers.
Its doctrines are holy, its precepts binding,
Its histories are true and its decisions are immutable.
Read it to be wise,
Believe it to be safe,
And practice it to be holy.
It contains light to direct you,
Food to support you,
And comfort to cheer you.
It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass.
The soldier’s sword, and the Christian’s character.
Here paradise is restored, heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed.
Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end.
It should fill the memory, test the heart, and guide the feet.
Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully.
It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory and a river of pleasure.
It is given you in life,
It will be opened at the judgement,
And be remembered forever.
It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor
And condemns all who will trifle with its sacred contents.

If you can, talk to the young person personally during the 3 months.
See if they have a special prayer request that they would like you to pray about.
Consider making a phone call to inquire how they are doing.
You could offer to take them out for a “hamburger or pizza”.
Look for opportunities at church to speak to them or offer them a ride to church or a church activity.
Make available your telephone # and address if they want it.
* It is good to have a person in charge of the folders, keeping up with who has what. Have someone make the pictures of the young people. Make sure they are
Redistributed every three months to a different person. There are two sets of letters, one for younger youth and the other for older youth. Use the one best suited for the young person.
